ABOUT THE STUDIO
The art of noticing.
When I was little, and people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was simple: I wanted to travel, take pictures, and write about the places I saw.
In many ways, that's still exactly what I'm doing.
Growing up, I was fortunate to travel widely, experiencing different cultures, extraordinary landscapes, national parks, memorable dining experiences, and places unlike anywhere I'd been before. I almost always had a camera with me, drawn to the details that made each place feel distinct. Somewhere along the way, what began as a childhood dream became a way of seeing the world.
I've come to think of it as the art of noticing.
The way afternoon light dances through the trees. The textures and thoughtful details of a beautifully designed interior. The sounds of a place waking up, the scent of a meal being prepared, the feeling of arriving somewhere new. I'm drawn to the things that can be easy to overlook, yet somehow become the things we remember most.
For me, beauty isn't reserved for extraordinary places or once-in-a-lifetime experiences. It's everywhere, woven into the everyday. I've always felt a deep sense of gratitude for the ability to recognize that magic, wherever I happen to find myself.
Studying Art History at university deepened that perspective. It introduced me to centuries of architecture, ancient societies, and the ways people throughout history have expressed beauty and meaning in their everyday lives. It made me feel connected to people who lived hundreds or even thousands of years before me, reminding me that our desire to create, gather, celebrate, and make a place our own is something timelessly human.
That perspective is at the heart of Golden Hour Studio.
Through photography and cinematic short-form films, I tell visual stories about the places we visit, the spaces we inhabit, and the experiences that bring them to life. From thoughtfully designed stays and intimate dining experiences to the character of a destination, I'm interested in capturing more than what a place looks like. I want to convey what makes it feel like somewhere.
Thoughtful collaborations, shared perspectives.
Beyond hospitality and travel, I'm interested in partnering with brands whose values, vision, and approach to the world align with my own. From travel and wellness to thoughtfully designed products and creative tools, I'm drawn to collaborations that feel genuine, tell a meaningful story, and bring something of value to the people experiencing them.
Whether through photography, cinematic storytelling, or a more immersive creative collaboration, I'm always open to discovering the right fit.
Because the most memorable places leave us with more than photographs. They leave us with a feeling.
And those are the stories I want to tell.
